The effects of Botox are obvious in a few
days, and maximum effect is seen in one to two
weeks. Typically the treatment lasts 3-5
months.

DERMAL FILLERS
Skin fillers are more commonly used in
the lower third of the face, to correct deeper
skin creases and sometimes to provide lip
enhancement. They can also be used
elsewhere to correct skin folds and creases that
are beyond prevention/treatment by Botox.
In the case of lip enhancement, there is often
a decrease in lip volume as the result of the
ageing process, and there is also a loss of the
definition of the margin between the red lip and
the skin. As things progress, many
women will also gradually develop vertical lip
lines, especially with exposure to the sun and
smoking.
The filler we primarily use consists of
Hyaluronic acid. This is compound which
occurs naturally in the body, and is
synthetically manufactured, avoiding the risk of
allergy reaction that can occur for example with
collagens.
The process in invasive, a local anaesthetic is
usually required, and there may be a minor
amount of local swelling or tenderness after the
procedure. The effects of
dermal fillers can last for well over 1
year.
Here are some examples of our work :
The case below shows the reduction of
naso-labial fold. This result is achieved
with a hyaluronic acid tiller, and a
little local anaesthetic. The second
photograph is taken a week after the procedure.

complaint was that as he aged, his lips were
disappearing. The second photograph is
